CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVERS

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our growing team working in the Kamloops and surrounding area.  Successful candidates must have 5 plus years of experience with a clean drivers abstract driving truck and trailer in all types of situations including hauling with a B-train, low-bedding, hauling gravel, and transporting materials to job sites. 

What we offer:

• $35 - $40 per hour, based on experience

General Duties & Responsibilities:

• Hauling gravel with clam dump, end dump, B-train, and dump truck.
• Low-bedding equipment around central BC.
• Performs work to the highest quality.
• Accurately complete all work reports, daily logbooks and maintenance logs.
• Communicate with co-workers and fleet manager.
• Regularly perform safety inspection of equipment.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Operate safely with care and attention to the truck, equipment, the job-site and crew.
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to complete mandatory internet-based orientation and indoctrination training and certification
• Class 1 Driver’s Licence with a clean drivers abstract 
• 5 plus years’ experience operating a truck and trailer
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to be on the road for extended periods of time
• Reliable transportation to/from the worksite
• Experience operating other equipment is an asset
